| From the front page of the Rat Association of NZ website: I have started this club up in the hopes of doing better than it did last time! With your help, it will be. Overseas there are clubs, societies, and associations for rats everywhere. New Zealand tryed for a while, but the club flopped again due to not enough enthusiastic people behind it. Now we are trying again. We are starting locally, to eventually build up to a national association. If you are interested in starting it in your region, feel free to contact us for info to get started! The purpose of RANZ is to simply form a group of like minded people in NZ. With the standards sorted, we have a good goal to help our breeding programs. We also have the basis for anyone wanting to judge or hold a show in different areas. We just need to get off the ground for a start. Even only a local club is better than nothing, so get out there and spread the word! Visit http://www.flyingduster.buildtolearn.net/rats/index.html to see the Rat Association Website. If you have rat questions for Amy, email them to info@hippo.co.nz. |
