Welcome to the Small Mammal section. Here we cater for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats and mice. Mice and rats are particularly suitable for the classroom and provide a valuable focus for learning about responsible animal care and animal behavior, as well as the rodent and mammal groups. 

Teachers and individuals are welcome to submit non-urgent questions regarding small animal care to us which will be posted on the site with an answer. Direct to info@hippo.co.nz
